ERP, Core & CRM

Systems of record hold the rules and data of the business. We help you choose, extend and integrate them so they remain upgradable and the rest of the company can build on them.

What does Metatech do with ERP, core systems and CRM?

Metatech Perú supports ERP and CRM selection, designs extensions that do not block product upgrades, integrates these systems with channels, applications and AI agents, and connects transactional core systems through APIs and events. The goal is for the system of record to keep consistent data and for the processes around it to stop depending on manual work.

Who it is for

  • Companies about to choose or replace their ERP or CRM that need independent technical judgment.
  • Organizations with an over-customized ERP they can no longer upgrade.
  • Companies with a proprietary transactional core that must open up to new channels and products.

The problem it solves

  • ERP implementations that replicate old processes and end up full of customizations.
  • A CRM the sales team does not use because it doubles the work instead of reducing it.
  • A core system that can only be reached through screens or files, with no APIs.
  • Modules that do not talk to each other: finance, inventory, sales and service work with different versions of the same data.

How it works

  1. Process before product

We document how the process works today and how it should work. Product evaluation starts from that definition, not from a sales demo.

  2. Standard first, extension second

We adopt the standard product behavior whenever reasonable. What is truly differentiating is built outside the core, on its APIs.

  3. Data and integration

We define sources of truth, migrate with reconciliation and connect the system to the rest of the ecosystem through integration contracts.

  4. Adoption and stabilization

We support go-live with close assistance, integration monitoring and adjustments based on real usage.

What we deliver

  • Process discovery and prioritized requirements before evaluating products.
  • An evaluation matrix of alternatives: functional fit, integration, total cost and risk.
  • Extensions designed outside the product core, using its APIs and extension points.
  • Integrations with channels, ecommerce, invoicing, logistics and internal tools.
  • A data migration strategy: cleansing, mapping, trial loads and reconciliation.
  • APIs over the core system to expose capabilities without changing its internal logic.

What it integrates

  • ERP
  • CRM
  • Transactional core
  • Ecommerce
  • E-invoicing
  • Banks and payments
  • Logistics and warehouses
  • Payroll and HR
  • Business intelligence
  • Customer portals
  • AI agents

When it makes sense

It makes sense when

  • You are about to make a platform decision that will last for years.
  • The current system holds back business initiatives for lack of integration.
  • You need to open the core to digital channels, partners or automation.
  • You want to reduce customizations to regain the ability to upgrade.

Another option is better when

  • You only need licences or support for a specific product: that belongs to the vendor or its channel.
  • The process is not yet defined and there is no business owner.
  • The problem is solved with a report or a one-off automation.

Typical scenarios

ERP selection

A growing company compares alternatives with a matrix that weighs critical processes, ease of integration and multi-year total cost, not only licence price.

CRM connected to operations

The CRM receives leads from the website and from AI agents, checks availability and prices in the ERP and returns order status to the salesperson without switching screens.

Core with APIs

A core system integrated today through nightly files is exposed through an API layer, making it possible to build digital channels without changing the core.

Frequently asked questions

Does Metatech sell or represent an ERP or CRM?

Metatech Perú does not tie its recommendation to a product. The service consists of evaluating alternatives on process, integration and total cost criteria, and implementing, extending or integrating the chosen option.

Can an ERP be integrated with AI agents?

Yes. AI agents can read and record ERP information through APIs with scoped permissions: order status, stock, customers or invoices. Metatech designs that integration layer so every action is logged and sensitive operations require human approval.

What does modernizing the core without replacing it mean?

It means surrounding the core system with a layer of APIs and events that exposes its capabilities, so new channels and products are built on that layer. The core stays stable and is modernized in parts, by priority and risk.
